Fractional data and analytics leadership
Fractional analytics leadership means having someone senior own your data direction without hiring for it. After a project, some clients keep us on for a few hours a week or month to keep reporting healthy, review what the team builds, plan the next step, and be who you call when something breaks or a new question comes up. What does it cost?
Our standard rate is $200 an hour. Before any work starts, we agree on an estimate and a not-to-exceed number, so you always know the ceiling. The first thirty-minute conversation is free.
Do I need Microsoft Fabric, or is Power BI enough?
For many businesses, Power BI on its own is still more than enough to deliver the reporting they need, and it can save thousands of dollars a year in licensing compared with running Fabric capacity. Fabric earns its place when you have complex data movement, real-time needs or a lot of sources to bring together. We will give you a straight answer either way.
What does a typical engagement look like?
It starts with a thirty-minute conversation at no cost, where we figure out whether we are useful to you. Then a short engagement, usually two to four weeks, with the scope and an estimated number of hours agreed before anything starts. Some clients keep us around afterwards on a fractional basis. Most do not need to.
Which AI tools do you work with?
Mainly ChatGPT and Claude for day-to-day work like writing, strategy and improving workflows, and Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for reporting and data. The training is built around the tools your team already has access to.
