Book a 30-minute conversation

No cost, no pitch. You'll leave with two things you can do that week.

Sound familiar?

  • I'm the bottleneck. Everything routes through me.
  • We tried AI for a few weeks and it fizzled out.
  • I couldn't tell you which parts of the business actually make money.

Three ways I help

AI Starting Point

A working session to find the three tasks in your business AI should handle first. You leave with a plan, not a subscription.

Team Training

Get your people actually using the tools instead of just licensed for them.

Know Your Numbers

One clear dashboard that answers "how's business?" without the spreadsheet wrestling.

How it works

  1. A conversation

Thirty minutes, no cost. We figure out whether I'm useful to you.

  2. A short engagement

Usually two to four weeks. We agree on the scope and an estimated number of hours before anything starts.

  3. Only if you want it

Some clients keep me around. Most don't need to.

Who I've worked with

Healthcare, insurance, asset management, medical devices, and professional services.

His expertise with Power BI was invaluable. He not only provided top-tier technical guidance but also took the time to teach us the ins and outs of the tool so we could be confident and self-sufficient moving forward. Maeve McGreenery — Asset Management
Nathan helped us take an extremely complex insurance-specific database and developed a reporting framework that allowed us to quickly deliver value to our business end-users. We now have a model for report development that is both fast and scalable. Brandon Nichols — Life Insurance and Annuities

Who you'd be working with

Nathan Giullian, founder of Birch Run Consulting

I'm Nathan Giullian. I've spent my career helping people get real value out of technology they've already paid for.

I run Birch Run Consulting out of Salt Lake City and organize the Salt Lake City Microsoft Fabric User Group. I'm in Bozeman regularly and happy to meet in person.

Questions people ask

Am I too small for this?

Probably not. Most of my work starts with one person and one process.

What does it cost?

My standard rate is $200 an hour. Before any work starts, we agree on an estimate and a not-to-exceed number, so you always know the ceiling.

Do I need to be technical?

No. That's the point.

You're in Salt Lake. Does that work?

Yes. Most of the work happens over video, and I'm in Bozeman regularly.

Let's find out if I can help.

Thirty minutes. No cost, no pitch.
